<div>(2) The licensee must ensure that at all times when an amateur station is<br>operated unattended:<br>(a) a timer is fitted to the station to cause its automatic shutdown if a<br>malfunction causes an unintentional transmission of more than<br>
10 minutes’ duration; and<br>(b) a transmission from the station can be terminated promptly if the<br>transmission causes interference to another service.<br></div>
<div>So, if your radio doesn't have a built-in TX timeout function, then you would need to fit some other suitable mechanism to stay legal.<br></div>
