We don't want LOKI-1 meeting with unexpected down-drafts or winds just after launch.<br><br><br><br>Do not forget to regularly check the following web pages for updates:<br>http://www.trci.org.au/Loki.html<br><br>We are looking at the possibility of posting news and photos of our progress on Facebook or some other place like it.<br><br>Experimentation and testing of LUKI-1's transmitters will begin very soon, when we have the preliminary testing completed we will send out a link so everyone can see how it is working. If all works ok a little baby balloon should be visible on a map using the APRS network. Testing will last for a couple of weeks to prove that the system is reliable before launching it into the edge of space.<br><br>We are planning on releasing a fresh news story each week to update everyone of LOKI-1's progress.
