<DIV>I've used the APRS app on my Android Magic and was surprised how well it
did work.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It would be even better if smart beaconing could be added by the
author!</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Take a look for VK2POO-7 on <A href="http://aprs.fi">aprs.fi</A> and
you'll see a track from Tweed Hds down the highway.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Assuming you have mobile coverage in the intended area there is no legal
impediment to a Foundation licence holder carrying the phone with the app
running.</DIV>
