A friend and I will be taking part in a Gliding Competition at<br>
Chinchilla over Easter and will be carrying MT8000 trackers in the two<br>
sailplanes.<br>
I'll have a portable digi on the ground at Chinchilla with a 5/8<br>
collinear antenna at just a few meters elevation. I won't be able to<br>
gate to the internet, but hopefully the sailplanes will stay high<br>
enough for good position reporting throughout the competition via<br>
existing digis and igates. I'll be testing on Good Friday.<br>

The trackers will display the call signs VHZJC and VHIUR with VK4MDX<br>
in the status/beacon text. Should be fun to watch.<br>
