Bugger, I initially only sent this to Andrew.

Take 2

  Norm,

This is the command I use to start direwolf in a screen session. It's
located in dw-start.sh

/usr/bin/SCREEN -d -m -S direwolf /usr/local/bin/direwolf -t 0 -c
/home/vk2tv/direwolf.conf

The command screen -ls lists screen sessions ....

vk2tv at pitest-vk2tv:~ $ screen -ls
There is a screen on:
     2171.direwolf    (27/06/20 14:34:13)    (Detached)
1 Socket in /run/screen/S-vk2tv.
vk2tv at pitest-vk2tv:~ $

The command

vk2tv at pitest-vk2tv:~ $ screen -R 2171

attaches to the listed screen session for direwolf and reports this sort
of information ...

Use CTRL A followed by CTRL D to disconnect from the screen session.
