[OZAPRS] East Gippsland Digipeater Coverage

Happy new year everyone,

It looks like the digipeater on Mount Nowa Nowa, VK3REB-1, may have lost
battery power in the early hours of the new year, yesterday morning. Power
has been off to the area for some days now after a bushfire swept through
the area - the digipeater seemingly surviving the initial blaze. Hopefully
it returns to service with power restoration and doesn't require any
further work to reinstate this digi.

The other East Gippsland digipeater, VK3REG-1 on Mount Cann, has not been
heard for some weeks. Does anyone know what the long term plan is for this
digi? I hear it occasionally but it has quite frequent and extended periods
of inactivity. This area has been spared from fires however at present
mains power is also off in this area.

I'd also be interested to know whether any other digis have been affected
as a result of the bushfire season, particularly in VK2. It looks like a
few have come close.
