Hi all,
I am also running an SCS DSP TNC so have just swapped it over to R300 mode. I know it can tx both modes one after the other and it would be great if it could somehow do both decode modes at the same time.

thank you for the kind offer.
ROBUST PACKET MODE also called RPR is a proprietary mode from german company SCS -the inventors of PACTOR- so I guess you would need a DSP-TNC hardware modem or an SCS PACTOR Modem , that does support RPR.
Then you could connect it via USB or serial to the RASPI , ODROID or PC running an APRS Gate Software.
The mode has 8 carriers with 50 baud each with adaptive OFDM modulation
that will tolerate a frequency offset of 800Hz, which is very helpful, when operating mobile with changing temperature..
and DSP-TNC can demodulate several signals at same time...
You can use it for hf-APRS and for PAcket BBS on HF.
adaptive speed is R300 and R600 Baud.
center frequency is 1500Hz and less than 500Hz BW.
I have heard that a normal sound card would not have sufficient timing stability to cope with this mode, but never tested...

Hi Mike, does it run on a Raspberry Pi or an Odroid like DireWolf ?
Lots of experimenters here, so I'm sure that somebody would be happy to hack something together to try that new mode for you.
