It’s broken for High Sierra, and probably for anything later than Mavericks.  I’ve just spent an hour on it, fixing the Makefiles, selecting the right SDK, finding includes, trying gcc6 instead and I still haven’t got it to compile.

A binary version of 1.3 might work, but otherwise it’s not an easy job.
