[OZAPRS] Roll Call - SAT GATES

Again, completely ridiculous for satellite work. You'd overload any
transponders you would want to work and make it useless for other users.
Most sats recommend something like 5-20W MAXIMUM.

Anyway.

I've got my SatNOGS ground station decoding any APRS traffic it comes
across while running observations:
https://network.satnogs.org/stations/15/

If it happens to get scheduled with an ISS pass, and is tasked to listen on
145.825 MHz (not always the case, but is true for most passes), it will
decode and gate whatever it hears as VK5QI-3.
It has only been running in this mode for about a week, and required me to
do some mods to SatNOGS to make it work. Currently a bit of a battle to
make sure the guys that task these ground stations understand that APRS is
the most likely thing to be heard from the ISS.

Antenna is a turnstile with a MiniKits 2m preamp under it, and i've found
the antenna works best on passes > 30 degrees elevation. I may need to
tweak the element spacing to make it a bit broader.
