Ashley,

Have you checked that you're transmitting simplex on the APRS channel and
that there isn't a repeater offset still enabled ?

I made this mistake the other day on my kenwood mobile, I received fine but
no one heard me 600kHz down in the old packet band... had to look at the
screen closely before I saw the "minus" sign (*slaps forehead*).

My only other suggestion is to listen to your tones being transmitted and
make sure they are not garbled or distorted.
