[OZAPRS] Weather Station

I did something akin to what you want to do with the Davis wx station of
a ham (now SK). His station sent the data to the Davis site for display
on the internet. What I did was download the web page as a text file,
parse that file for the commencement of wx data, split off the data into
individual files for each parameter, apply mathematical correction or
conversion (km to miles, C to F, etc) as appropriate, and reassemble the
data into the aprs format for a wx station. That data was then sent to
xastir for sending to the aprs internet server. The process is probably
cleaner than the explanation!! I used standard Linux tools such as grep,
cut, head, etc, to sort the data. The script is a combination of shell
script and Perl script (I couldn't be bothered trying to do it all with
Perl). My scripts are still being used by vk2wet to send BoM information
to the IS. If you're into Linux and you don't mind doing your own
hacking I'll send you the script.
