[OZAPRS] Ultimate3 HF APRS tracker

hi Hans, I run HF APRS in the vehicle with a multi band screwdriver antenna mostly on 30 Mx. 10.147.6 MHZ. It works fine and a small black box would be great freeing up the HF rig.

Hans,

Great to hear from you and that's fantastic news about HF APRS getting
closer with the Ultimate 3. I have spoken to you on email about this in
the past and I have an Ultimate 3 nearly ready to go on HF but without the
multi-band antenna set up yet.

And having the Ultimate 3 running on 2m is a great opportunity too -
especially for WSPR. Will it do WSPR on 6m as well ?

As you will see there is some good activity with WSPR on both 6m and 2m in
Australia. The WSPR map 24 hour view shows that ...

Dom VK2HJ might be a very good tester of the device as he is a very long
term user of APRS on 2m and travels thousands of Km every week in his car.
I'll pass on a message to Dom now via Facebook.

All the best, Jamie - VK2YCJ
