Subject: [OZAPRS] Pretty impressed with VK2RCC-1
All,
Currently camping in Mendooran NSW. Using my HT Kenwood TH-D72 with the
Kenwood supplied rubber duck I am getting my APRS packets into VK2RCC-1 over
a distance of 54.1km using 500mW with the HT just sitting on the table
outside.
Using the 2m whip on my caravan I am consistently getting into VK2RCC-1
using only 50mW.
Not bad I would have thought,
Gerard
