Guys you are all holding it wrong! (aka Steve Jobs!) 

I don't beacon on 145.825, I listen and pass data across to my T2
(T2TAS) server that in turns places the data out into the APRS-IS world.
But as it's my WX SSID that hears the initial packet it ID remains as
this point of entry call sign. 

The TinyTrak when set to KISS does just that, it needs to be polled
prior to sending anything out on that port, and as it's not allowed, it
simply doesn't TX
