Hi all,

Just a heads-up for any balloon fans among you: Sunday before last, I was taking callbacks from the VK2WI broadcast, and John VK2YGV mentioned that the Tamworth club will be launching a balloon in the next few weeks, subject to weather and CASA clearance.

I think the balloon will be fitted with APRS, possibly other goodies, though I have no details to hand just yet. I gather  next Sunday's VK2WI broadcast will have a news item on the subject.
