I have been running the Electus XC0348 ( the same as the Altronics X7062) ,
and yes the rain buckets stop to work 6 months after installing, pulled
apart the bucket unit and found a spider had set up home inside, and the
buckets inside where covered in cob webs, clean the cob webs out, evicted
the spider, spay surface spider spay inside the unit, and never looked at it
again, to this day it still working and that was 18 months ago.

use Cumulus software with this weather station, and Ui-view32 connected toa 
tnc. works well, vk3hau-10 .
