I use pywws on Linux.  I don't upload, but that doesn't seem difficult
based on what the software kit provided.

The weather station was from Altronics.

On command line, lsusb shows it as

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 1941:8021 Dream Link USB Missile Launcher

But it doesn't launch missiles.
