[OZAPRS] New digipeaters for VK2

Folks,

 

After many years of living with the "Black Hole" along the Hume Hwy between
Sydney and Canberra, I have just heard that two new digipeaters have the
green light in the area.  VK2RHR-1 at High Range and VK2RGN-1 in Goulburn
will come online sometime in the coming month or two.

This should provide pretty much blanket coverage from Sydney to Canberra,
with the recently upgraded digipeaters in the Riverina - mainly VK2RWG-1 in
Wagga and VK2HLT-1 near Leeton (Soon to be changed to VK2RGF-1) providing
coverage out to the west to beyond Griffith.

 

There are also some talk of some additional digipeaters up towards Narrabri
- but this is still in the early stages.
