Hi Brian
cc: everyone else J

Thanks for the information, appreciated.
I have been playing with a tt4 for a while with a 706mkiig in the local vhf mode and had great time :-0

The drama is switching between vhf and hf, is it easier to have 2 or is there any way to use the tracker?

Hi Samantha

If you have been following VK4BBS-15 over the past few months I have been on the road travelling around the country so far nearly 14,000 Kms up with another 5,000+ to go all this time I have been using an OpenTracker with excellent results on HF. I also have a switch installed that allows me to switch from 1200 baud VHF to 300 baud HF.

I am using an old IC-706 mk1 coupled to an equally old AH4 Auto Tuner with a 8 foot SS whip. At present having problems with the 706 on 2m so until I get home in October it will be HF all the way.
