As i said in my message, I wasn't sure that a USB-Parallel adapter would 
actually work?  i.e. do they present a *real* parallel port to the 
software?  Or just one that is functional enough to run a printer?  If 
they do indeed work fully, and will run an eprom programmer, that'll fix 
my problem perfectly :)
