[OZAPRS] VK2 Network news

Although after sending this response I read another mail that indicates that
the digi on Mt Canobolas (RAO-1) may be terminated due to various reasons,
and the digi at Newbridge (RLH-1) has disappeared and may not be back....
And the digi's towards Dubbo and beyond may not happen....

There goes the Central West coverage .... for now ....

I was angling for Bindo, but despite multiple mails to various people
involved in both SGARC and the Bindo site, I received NOT ONE response - not
even a "no thanks" - just a big black hole.

Thankfully VK2RLH-1 at Newbridge seems to cover the run down Mt Victoria and
much of the road to Lithgow and Bathurst, only shielded by Mt Panorama.
After that VK2RAO-1 at Canobolas takes over nicely.... but a fill-in
around Lithgow would be nice....

Could be a case of the mobile setup ,, I ran with a D7 for ages , but a
D-700 made a big difference ,, my recent trip to Melbourne a year ago was
interesting , all be it a mad rush ;-)
but Goulburn and High Range would fill some gaps just nicely ...

Was'nt Bindo a possbility a while back???? now that would be nice , I'd even

donate a Diamond X-200 for that :-)

cheers all and happy new APRS year , Phil.
