HI Michael,

Turning on the gate function could cause problems especially if you TX
internet traffic, so it's best left off.

But thanks for the offer.

VK3VCC is running as a digi of some kind near Barnsdale. This is causing
some traffic duplication issue with VK3VHF-1 at present.

The good news is that I got VK3RGI-1 back up and working tonight.

Cheers

Richard

Richard,

While vk3RGI-1 is off air would it help if I turn the "gate all rf to
internet" on my weather station ( ui-view32 ) vk3hau-10 to ON to fill in the
hole in the Traralgon to Bairnsdale area, my location is in Maffra but not
at a great height, Traralgon to Bairnsdale at best is my cover mainly on
HighWay 1.

or would that cause problems with the aprs system !?.

Hi,

We are having a few problems with digipeaters at present.

Digipeaters VK3CV-1 & VK3RGI-1 are temporarily off the air.

VK3CV-1 has hardware issues. I have new equipment on the work bench for
VK3CV-1 which I hope to have installed before Christmas.

VK3RGI-1 appears to have a TNC issue that I'm looking into.

Cheers

Richard
