[OZAPRS] TinyTrack3 Plus GPS Combo- Problems

I could not get anything else to work but I tried this

I connected the gell cell to the power/radio port on TT3+
I connected a serial splitter cable to the GPS/Computer port then  
connected to computer and GPS via the splitter.
I ran OziExplorer and enabled NMEA comms. I unplugged GPS and  
computer cable and replugged. IN the NMEA sentence window I got the  
following

"In- TinyTrack 3 v1.1but no other sentences"
