G'day Andrew...

VHF coverage is pretty good (some black spots!) in the major populated
areas! but HF will certainly win in the outer! I'm based in the south of
the state (Kingston) I'll have 40m on 24/7 as I'm parked there now!  I
also run the southern I-Gate (VK7HSE-3) so again when your in Hobart
you'll get piped back to the net... I'm seldom on voice but I do listen
to the 70cm repeater on 438.600MHz (143Hz CTCSS) you may prove that the
40m APRS coverage will be better than 20m coverage! (tongue in cheek!)
