[OZAPRS] 40m good but wierd

David,

It is used elsewhere as you say, but not universally. It's another of 
those anomalies with band plans, when a segment being used in one region 
for a particular mode can impact on a different mode in another region. 
Mother Nature does a sterling job of preventing inter-region 
interference, isn't she wonderful :-)
