Hi All...using Ubuntu 8.04 here.....you can load Firefox 2 from the APT 
list and have both 2 and 3 beta ....just have to remember which one you 
want....on my other machine i had to do a complete new install of 
8.04....had backed up my home drive and so i got a fairly clean 
install...3 beta had been bad on that machine sometimes producing 
garbage when loading some pages.....no problems now.....this machine was 
upgraded from 7.10 and found that 3 beta sometimes was bad.....there is 
a upgrade that seems to have fixed it.....ive set up my machines so that 
i can get the latest upgrades when i want them....
