Gday,

Last weekend the team of Ron VK3ECV, Mark VK3EME and Graeme VK3JGL headed
to
Robinvale, their mission was to relocate and perform maintenance work on
the
VK3RVL voice and APRS repeaters and assist the local community FM radio
station with the relocation of the FM broadcast transmitter. After 3 days

of hard work hailing equipment up and down the side of the grain silo the
work was finished and all 3 systems were running perfectly.

This was a big commitment and I wish to thank the team for all the work
they
did to get VK3RVL Voice and APRS repeaters back on air.

VK3RON-1 back on air.

VK3RON-1 at Ouyen is back up and running. However a high RF noise level is

currently being experienced at the site. This is resulting in a reduced
coverage for the APRS digipeater. At present coverage is estimated to be
only about 20km radius from Ouyen. Work will be done to try and track down

the source of the noise when time permits.

Cheers

Richard

VK3JFK
