[OZAPRS] aprs.net.au outage (possibly) overnight

Hi Folks,

 

Aprs.net.au was possibly down overnight.. - some 15yo from perth (who
already has two major DC's in the US, one in Sydney, and now iiNet
coming after him) decided to launch a nice 260mbps Ddos attack against
my 10mbit link in Melbourne, which effectively took it offline from
about 3pm yesterday arvo..  We have the TTL on the domain up fairly high
so all the backups should have kicked in, but just incase, I thought I'd
drop a note to say why it was down if anyone had any problems J
