Thanks very much for that Ray.
I will pass on to David that you have done this, and to set his path to
APRS,GATE... Will be interesting to see how he goes.  BTW he is a VK4 just
waiting for his new callsign.  Probably will be VK4MDX

My TS430 is now on 14105.09khz USB and I have configured another port in 
xastir. My path is GATE.

I'll monitor the channel as much as I can in the hope that I can hear 
some traffic to net to.
