Yep - It can, but by default the alerts are OFF.

In UI-NWS, Under Setup -> Miscellaneous   there is an option to set the
alert level that you want audible alarms to be triggered for, and if you
want these alarms to sound if an area alert is in effect for your location.

Additional areas to alarm can be defined in Setup -> Area Alarms ->
Zone/County Areas.

All,

I am using UI-VIEW 32 v2.03 and also have the WX alerts enabled.  Question
is, does this generate some sort of audible 'siren' type alarm??  Every so
often I get this sound through my speakers and the WX alert is the only
logical thing I can trace it too.

Any thoughts??
