VK4TEC-9 is high because I am using it for coverage mapping VS predicted
results.

VK4RIL-7 is a solar powered voice repeater with APRS telem on 145.175
(opentracker)

Hi Andrew

Very interesting perhaps would be a little easier to sort out if operators
used correct SSIDs so that we could tell if they actually digipeaters,
gateways or mobile for example VK4OG-1 whilst we know he certainly is not
so
his SSID would indicate him as being just a home station whilst VK4IE-3
would indicate that he is a digipeater when I feel he is a home station?

By the way if VK4IE-3 is actually a digipeater he really should not be so
as
he is right on VK4GME-3's doorstep.

I see in your list SSID's of 7,10 and 13 I wonder if these are what they
indicate.
SSID 13 not on the SSID list that I have?
SSID 10 is for Internet only an SSID that should not be used on RF?
SSID 7 Indicate a Kenwood D7 HH ?

When one looks at VK4GME-3 a digipeater that you certainly would not miss
hearing at your QTH it would certainly give the impression that other
digipeaters SSID-3 are beaconing a little more often than necessary.

I can see that you finished at 7pm after starting at midnight 19 hours if
I
have it right?
Working on your data on KNOWN digipeaters I have given beside your data
the
average beacons per hour/minute.
By the way I notice that you VK4TEC-9 must have been doing a lot of
travelling over that period also.

Just look at the data below also considering that some digipeaters
actually
beacon through other digipeaters one can easily see where our problems
are.

Lets hope we can fix it.

I am going to end my recording of packet stats in the seqld area.

Its now 7 PM in the evening and I have been recording since midnight.

Daily stats are as follows.

+----------+-------+
| callsign | count |
+----------+-------+
| VK4VP-9 | 2 |
| VK4RX-3 | 3 |
| VK4TGV-9 | 19 |
| VK4IE-13 | 30 |
| VK4HW-7 | 32 |
| VK4CPM-9 | 36 |
| VK4IPE-9 | 104 |
| VK4XDB-9 | 127 |
| VK4ZF-9 | 127 |
| VK4GME-3 | 129 |
| VK4IE-3 | 169 |
| VK4HW-4 | 212 | HF to VHF gateway 11 per hour one about every 5
minutes
| VK4RIL-7 | 280 | A digipeater I think should be -3, 15 per hour one
every 4 minutes
| VK4KHP-9 | 313 |
| VK4RMM-3 | 319 | 17 per hour one about every 4 minutes
| VK4RAI-3 | 378 | 20 per hour one about every 3.5 minutes
| VK4BO-9 | 452 | Like VK4TEC rather high perhaps to frequent specially
when one considers
| VK4TEC-9 | 552 | that mobile stations would not be operating for the
full 19 hours non stop.
| VK4RGO-3 | 575 | 30 per hour one about every 2 minutes
| VK4RTW-3 | 612 | 32 per hour one under every 2 minutes
| VK4ZF-10 | 708 | presuming this station is a home or Internet only
station 37 per hour one about every 1.6 minutes
| VK4OG-1 | 5662 | 298 per hour one about every 12 seconds
