[OZAPRS] HF Beacon Rate

Hi 

I would have thought with the very little and infrequent traffic on HF
that
Dom VK2SX beaconing at 5 minute intervals on HF would not be a problem
when
I quickly read earlier emails I had the impression that he was beaconing
on
HF far more often than 5 minutes?

What was the real complaint about and why?

Dom, VK2SX, has read my packet message and replied.
 
His beacon rate on HF was 5 minutes because he was asked to set it that
Way. I don't know by whom.
 
Dom has increased the time to 8 minutes but asked the same question I
Asked, how should it be set up? Dom is prepared to abide by recommended
Settings so somebody might like to oblige and I'll pass it on.
