[OZAPRS] HF Beacon Rate

Andrew and All,

Part of www.aprs.net.au is for the publication of Australian APRS
Guidelines.

Due to different rail gauges in the all the states there has not been a
lot
of National APRS Standard information to put there. Most of the
information
and guides have been state or region based on the individual state web
pages.

Now that everyone in most of the states are starting to talk about a
National approach on APRS Guidelines I can start to publish more on the
National site.

>From what I have seen here I believe there are common National APRS
standards for:

1) HF (Already on web site)
2) Satellites (Already on web site)
3) VHF Frequency
4) UHF Frequency
5) VHF & UHF 'New Paradigm' (I hope this will be standard)
6) SSIDs (Already on web site)
7) Voice Alert (?)
8) Operational Guidelines

Any other suggestions...

Ray VK2TV and I are reviewing the current web pages and they will be
updated
soon.

Cheers
Richard
