Here is the latest updates for VK3 APRS.

 

The Digipeater VK3REB-1 is back on air.

After an absence of several weeks VK3REB-1 was restored to service earlier
this week.

The sites faulty power supply and battery were replaced, as well as blown
fuse on the TNC.

 

Occasional packet data corruptions have been reported coming from
VK3RGI-1.

The digipeater's TNC was rebooted but the corruptions still appear to be
occurring.

More investigation and a further site monitoring may be required to
determine the root cause of this problem.

In the mean time station in Gippsland may see unusual icons and station
locations on their maps.

 

The Mansfield digipeater VK3RLE-1 is currently off-air.

We are unsure why it's off. A visit to the digi is being planed for some
time next week.
