Hello Andrew,

Running an MFJ1270 TNC and FWIW, the APRS program is Xastir on a Debian 
installation with kernel 2.6.18 but soon to be swapped to another 
machine running Kubuntu and kernel 2.6.21.

The planned digi will also be an MFJ1270 TNC running UIDigi.
