Ok I am arrogant cant spell and need to lighten up and not get so stressed
about stuff..

I am actually over it.. In reality the configs up at 2RBY-1 etc on the
border wont affect us here in little old Adelaide all that often because
we
live in a little box here and are not part of a national network so we
have
little concern of what happens over there and have decided to adopt a
selfish single minded and closed minded attitude..

If VK3 want to misconfigure the digis which are all configured the same
VK2
and VK3 (which I just proved they are not) and introduce more traffic
primarily into there own network with extra frames running 3 hops then why
should I care over here??

Apparently they are running WIDE1-1,WIDE2-2 (which I doubt) on VK2RBY-1
and
VK2RO Wx ststion. Question is why Geoff ? Must be that the WX station and
the digi are mobile..

That logical isnt it?? I will shut up now and get back into my little box
because Ive no idea what I am talking about and Ive been told..

>You'll probably find that the first hop is actually a WIDE1-1 hop,
followed
>by WIDE2-2. The VK2 digis you mentioned are all part of the VK3
network,
>however both VK2 and VK3 have the same setup, where our digi's are
>configured with WIDE1-1 in the UID parameter, to ensure that call
>substitution is performed correctly and cleanly.

>A path of WIDE1-1,WIDE2-2 would therefore give the path you are seeing.
