[OZAPRS] HF Configuration.

Hi Dick,

Im curious to know what you mean by a regular smart beacon rate? .. If you

mean the default settings, or close to that , of a TT3, then you could see

beacons as often as once every 10 seconds if the HF mobile station is 
traveling through very winding terrain. Is this ok for HF ? What do others

think ?  As far as HF paths go on 30m .. Basically from my experiences,
when 
the band is open, you'll get your 300bps frames through, nearly 100
percent 
of the time with power levels of 10-50watts. . When the band is shut, well

then it doesn't really matter how often you beacon does it ?  30m appears
to 
be one of those bands that either works well or doesn't work at all.
