I use a Diamond HF30FX whip either gutter mounted or mounted on bonnet
edge
for APRS.

Worked ok most of the way from Alice to Adelaide and also up around
Moomba.

Maldol make Mobile HF whips but I am not sure if they make a 10 Mhz
version
