Rod .. Ive be unable to make Xastir go with the ECW maps .. Maybee I need
a
newer version I think mine is presently 1.82 .. Maybee you could tell me
if
thats ok.. I need more time on that one like most things Linux..

As far as running a Digi goes.. Over your way its not real good for
coverage
your right.. I dont go much on it either..

I dont know where you get this though..

I guess you mean Andrew and me !!

I might have spoken to you about not doing things.. Like run WIDEn-n digi
and an Igate .. I definitely didnt ban you from running a Digi there..
Just
Run a RELAY digi or WIDE1-1 if it goes that way in the end .. We are
cautious about putting more Relay digis in. Especially with alot of
altitude
like your place.. Trying to get the local and Igate frames out to your car
will require a WIDE flood digi at your place which isnt a great idea for a
few reasons..

Andrew equally could argue the same point at his place as he cant get
great
mobile sigs from the network digis at his place .. He has been known to
run
a RELAY digi at his place which would likely help you alot too.. SO by all
means run a RELAY type digi ..
Ive seen you do this in the past and assumed you still did on the home
station..

If you think we have patchy spots here in Adelaide APRS coverage then take
a
drive to Sydney..
