Thanks for that... Mostly at this show we need the people to look and move
on unfortunately. Messaging is great and we will probably show that in the
background, but I think the positioning is where we need to focus...

The lecture this year is on GoogleEarth so the APRS messaging will not
help
there either :-(

  Ho there sorry but I live in VIC and wont be going, but I thought if you
want I could act as a " other end" operator, if you want to show the
messaging qualities of APRS. The other thyingis that I have written a
number
of APRS articles for AR, whoch havent been published yet, If you want I
could send you those for content. They are more on the operational side of
things, but do explain some cool things like how to send an APRS message
and
make it come out as an SMS on your phone... A great demo for your
