Thank you this works a treat !

I was confused because it is not until you select com port (4) that the
"shared" port button becomes visable.

The D700 has to be in packed mode (TNC PKT top left on the radio) the

GPS go's into the radio via the 2.5 mm socket

ui-view's set up

Gps setup

com port 1

shared port setup   D7/D700
