[OZAPRS] VK3 APRS Network Update......

Gday,

 

It appears that VK3RBU-1 is having operational problems.

The digipeater is txing but is not digipeating packets.

The Digi will be fixed when time permits.

 

Here is the current status of the VK3 APRS RF Network:

 

4 Digipeaters are currently out of service due to faults. They are;

 

VK3RBU-1 Ballarat

VK3RLE-1 Lake Eldon/Mansfield

VK3RGI-1 Central Gippsland

VK2RO-1 Tocumwal area

 

These will be fixed when time permits.

 

VK3HAP-1 has been reprogrammed as a fill in for VK3RGI-1 though it will
not provide as good coverage to the south or west.

 

1 Digipeater VK3RBH-1 is switched off to allow for coverage testing of a
new temporary digipeater, VK3JFK-1.

 

A SiteAlert box is being  prepared for installation at VK3REB-1 for remote
site monitoring.
