[OZAPRS] 40m gateway off line

Thanks for all those that came for a fly on 40m. Ive changed back to 30m
now.. It was an interesting test and comparison with 30m.. I certainly saw
a
few things that raised an eyebrow or 2 .. The biggest problem with 40m on
packet mobile is the noise level compared to 30m .. Other factors come
into
play but all in all there seems to be a place perhaps for 40m although it
may be not an everyday thing.. It does have its uses..

I hope it proved useful to the others who came across and had a fiddle and
there were a few that came and went..
It helped me get a grip on 40m APRS from the mobile using the laptop and
getting some 2 way traffic happening as well as watching a national map
from
the car. In the process Ive helped beta test some more useful software for
amateurs that will be
released shortly.

The 80m experiments have also proved interesting.. Thanks to Scott..
