Folks,
As part of a rationalisation of resources on the two national APRS-IS
servers
(first.aprs.net.au and second.aprs.net.au) a handful of ports will be
DISCONTINUED from the end of this week.
The ports that will be removed are:
1314 - Messaging Only Feed (filter t/m)
2323 - Global Wx Feed (filter t/nw p/cw)
10151 - Global Feed
10152 - Global Feed
10154 - USA Feed (filter a/50/-130/20/-70 r/65/-152/900)
10155 - Europe Feed (filter a/75/-36/32/28)
14575 - Your Position + 1000km (filter m/1000)
14576 - Your Position + 500km (filter m/500)
14577 - Your position + 100km (filter m/100)
The functionality of these ports can still be accessed from the two
servers
via the USER DEFINED FILTER port 14580. The string in brackets for each
port above is the filter string that you would enter if you required this
data.
The full GLOBAL FEED will be REMOVED COMPLETELY. If you really, really
require a full global feed, please contact me and I will let you know
where
it can be obtained from, however the custom filter can be configured to
allow almost any datastream required.
