Of course this will boobietrap APRSprotocols that are longer, and
many users are not easily aware of how long their packets are.
So this TNC truncation of data at 64 may cause more problems
than it is wirth.  I'd stick with  the original warning to keep 
packlets as short as possible and not include this boobytrap...

Just a thought?
