OK Guys,

Feel free to try the messaging again. I have tested from both RF and
Internet from my Igate and it is all working perfectly.

There was actually a new release of javAPRSsrvr not long ago that
addressed the very problem you guys noticed with messaging from outside
filtered boundaries.

Both aprs.net.au and second.aprs.net.au have been upgraded this afternoon
to the new version.

Please let me know if you find any more funnies like this.

Regards,

Geoff VK2XJG

some questions, but I can see that the ACK messages are hitting our
servers. Leave it with me and I'll try and find out why the range filter
is not doing what it is supposed to do properly.

Barker and myself last night, we confirmed that the problem with the APRS
Email servers lack of ACKs was due to the filtering all the VK & ZL IGates
are using on aprs/second.aprs.net.au port 10153. I think Tony VK5AH
alluded to this in an earlier email.
