[OZAPRS] What's Happened to HF APRS in VK?

Hi Bob,

No, I think he means LSB, suppressed carrier of 10149.0, using modems with
1100Hz & 1300Hz tones, hence Tone_1 = 10147.9kHz and Tone_2 = 10.147.7kHz.

I gather you think it's a good idea for Australia to use the same 10MHz
APRS
frequency as the rest of the world?
ie Tone_1 = 10149.2kHz and Tone_2 = 10149.4kHz

This can be achieved using USB, with the radio set to a display frequency
of
10148.10kHz (once again, assuming modem tones of 1100Hz & 1300Hz).

73,

Chris

p.s Any comments on firmware on the D-700? I'm about to buy one, and
want
to make sure I get the latest feature set.

Do you mean 10.149.000 Mark tone? If so, why not just use 10.149.200 MARK
tone which is what the rest of the world is using...
