IDEAL for long distance APRS via Meteors.  It WORKS.  But you need
100Watts or so for the mobile, and someone to be listening , preferably
with a BEAM about 1000 miles away...

And the 100W XMTR needs to be on, sending THOUSANDS of packets say 25% of
the time (lots of $$$ power)...  But it will get through...

And everyone can be transmitting nearly continuously, because the
geographic point-to-point of a meteor trail success is extremely limited,
so there is no QRM from others transmitting a the same instant.

But I for one, would not want to see the 20 Amp power drain most of the
time...
