[OZAPRS] HF APRS

Fired up HF APRS on 10.149.00 LSB and sound card packet program
 
I have a dipole that is too short, unmatched and up inside the the roof,
pointing side on, and I still picked up VK3 from VK4

Hi all
 
I am a newcomer to aprs and at present experimenting with VHF only.
 
I thought that it would be interesting to try HF but with all the emails I
have seen over the last couple of weeks, it is apparent that it is a good
place not to be at present.  
 
Maybe each operator should just spin the dial and then transmit.
 
Disorganised chaos would be just as good as the current organised variety.
 
When you get it all sorted out, it may be worth a try.
