[OZAPRS] HF line in the sand

Hi Brian,

Thanks for you comments, I understand what you are saying but I would be
lucky to hear 4dmi more than once a week.
So if I am not hearing him then I have no hope of getting back through.
My HF mobile station beacons at the same rate as my vhf mobile station ie
every 3 minutes.
Which from past experiences should at least get 5-7 through every hour.

I suspect that it I am too far from 4dmi to achieve reliable comms, but I
won't know for sure until I get a gateway at about the 700 Km range ( or
move :) )

However I will not stop trying 10 Mhz at least until the vk3 7Mhz gateway
is
back
